Commenting on the event, Bianca Fersini-Mastelloni, Polytems CEO, said “We are delighted to have organized the 3nd Annual Polytems Investor Day in Frankfurt, an international conference in the largest financial centre in continental Europe. Over time this investor conference is becoming a benchmark of the German financial community that participates more and more numerous as well as a recurring opportunity for Italian companies to interact with the German investors. Our Company goal is always to help the Italian firms to get a constant attention from investors, in Italy and abroad. We push our customers to see around the corner pushing boundaries of the financial markets, meeting with international investors in order to increase their shareholder base. This year more companies as well as more investors attended the Conference. We have registered 29 investors who have requested 130 meetings and have been organized 113 meetings. Our relationship and joint forces with Banca Akros and Pareto Securities were really smooth and extremely productive. We hope to continue to strengthen this fruitful cooperation in the future”.

Francesco Previtera, Chief Economist at Banco BPM, said “We have always been fully committed to provide top services to our customers, giving to the companies the best opportunities to meet investors interested in their equity story and strategies. We constantly work to create investment opportunities for the institutional community and Germany is a key market for us. In 2019 the Italian mid-small environment offers a better entry level compared to last year: this is due to the temporary suspension of the fiscal exemption on individual savings plans (the so-called PIR) due to a change in rules passed with the Italian 2019 Budget to be implemented by the end of February. PIR funds will continue to create a non-speculative demand of investment in stocks and bonds issued by Mid&Small caps, offering funding sources alternative to the banking sector. New rules make the investment in Venture Capital and non-listed companies also viable and incentivised”.

Tim Schuldt, Head of Research Germany at Pareto Securities added:  “Our focus at Pareto Securities is to provide our customers with interesting investment opportunities and corporate contacts not only from our German universe. This event offers our clients a convenient opportunity to meet with a number of  interesting Italian companies – just around the corner from their offices”.
